Friday Link Love

Well my friends,  I have to tell you I am in a pretty fantastic mood today. Andy and are loading up the car to drive to Orlando. We are taking my mom to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. This will be her first visit and as a huge Harry Potter fan she is so damn excited she is practically vibrating. It’s adorable. Not only that, but a couple of Andy and my friends from college happen to be there right now and it is looking like we have a pretty good chance of at the very least grabbing a meal with them. It’s been a little hectic getting everything squared away so we can get on the road, but the clock is ticking down and we are mere hours away from total vacation immersion. If you’re interested, I’ll be doing my best to post bits and pieces of our adventure on Instagram so just click on over and you can follow along. Happy Weekend!!!

I have definitely mellowed out a bit now that tax season is over, but my work attitude could still use a little adjusting. I found this article very interesting.

Like most people I was incredibly angry when I heard about what happened United Flight 3411. Even more so when the company tried to deny culpability, I am glad they are trying to make amends now, but I still don’t know if I will be flying with them any time soon.

As a crazy pet mom, I love to see other people share their love for their own furry children.

I love love LOVE summer fruit and I think this easy grilled fruit flatbread is just what I need to kick off the hottest part of the year.

One of the bloggers I follow just opened her own shop! It is so cool to see someone’s dreams come true, and I have to admit I am already a fan of  their party supplies.

How crazy cool is this cabana? I don’t think it would be enough to keep me from burning to a crisp in the blazing sun, but it definitely has pizazz.

We are hoping to hit up Disney Spring while we’re in Orlando, and I am dearly hoping to check our their newest shop “Cherry Tree Lane.”

About Julie

My name is Julieanna Bucior, but I go by Julie (unless I'm in trouble). I'm thirty one. I am a bookkeeper by day, rogue fashion designer/crafter/amateur baker by night. I spend most of my time feeling like a kindergartner trapped inside an adult's body. I love reading, hanging out with my crazy cats and being silly. I'm pretty much the girl next door, with a twist.
