Friday Link Love

Annnnnnnnd, it’s Friday again! One of those weeks that didn’t fly by, but contained enough metaphorical bobbing and weaving that you felt like you were super busy kicking ass and taking names and then *poof* Friday. Leaving you all “Uh, hey, wait, what?” Hmmmm, I think some of those late nights might be affecting my capacity to process. Anyway, I feel like I am still in the thick of things, heading into the weekend with an impressive to do list and almost the correct amount of get-up-and-go to accomplish it all. What I lack, my mom makes up for by keeping me on task and reminding me that while binge watching another season of Project Runway sounds like a great idea, she’ll be leaving in a week and then I’ll be doing all of these projects by myself. Here are some links to help you kick off your weekend.

Mother’s Day is only a little over a week away! If you’re still at a loss for what to give your mom, check out this DIY round up for some fun and easy ways to make something a little more personal.

If you want to make her day super extra special, host a brunch and whip up the gorgeous centerpiece.

Three words for you: Crispy Asparagus Fries.

I have some mixed feelings about this IKEA sneak peak; a lot of it isn’t what I’d consider “me”, but that being said, I want those sketchbooks and bumblebee sheets like whoa.

While I was fortunate to know most of these before I even took Home Ec, I know plenty of adults who still don’t. Do yourself a favor and give this a quick read.

Starting your own business is hard enough, building your own portable shop? That is a truly impressive feat.

I’ll admit I rocked all of these the first time around, but this time most of it is a hard “PASS” for me.

Most days I am rocking my necklace from Catbird, but recently this Oak Leaf Trio from Rust has caught my eye.

About Julie

My name is Julieanna Bucior, but I go by Julie (unless I'm in trouble). I'm twenty nine. I am a bookkeeper by day, rogue fashion designer/crafter/amateur baker by night. I spend most of my time feeling like a kindergartner trapped inside an adults body. I love reading, hanging out with my crazy cats and being silly. I'm pretty much the girl next door, with a twist.
