It’s going to be a good weekend, guys. You know why? Three things: french pastries, farmer’s market, and baby snuggles. BAM! Awesome weekend. Of course, there is more to it than that, but I am choosing to get excited about all the things I want to do and let those pesky little things I need to do take a back seat for a moment. I mean, baby snuggles, guys. They have the tiny fingers and toes, and they make the cutest faces! I love that I get to be an “aunt” to so many cool little ones. As far as the pastry portion of things, I am not even sure it is possible to have a bad morning when you have a hot mug of tea and a delicate freshly baked something or other in your hand. I am becoming a bit of a Saturday morning regular, which is a good thing I think. I usually sit there enjoying my treat and fantasizing about being able to quit my responsible grown up job and spend a year or two learning how to make pastry magic. I’d even take the effort to learn a little french so I could pronounce everything correctly. What do you have planned for your weekend?
I managed to watch all of the first season of Anne with an E this week, and I absolutely adored it. Anne of Green Gables was one of my favorite stories growing up, and I really feel like this added so much more depth to the characters while remaining true the the essence of the original story.
Grilled Pepper and Mozzarella Panzanella? Sounds like a wonderful summer idea to me!
How cute are these tiny mouse shops by artist(s) Anonymouse MMX that are popping up in Malmö?
How gorgeous is the minimal vintage adorned abode? I would love to have a few of those pieces in my collection.
I think this bright DIY sprinkle pill would be a wonderful addition to any desk, and the sparkle fairy in me wonders if it would be even better filled with glitter instead.
Design blogs always leave you feeling like there is no way you can ever have a picture perfect pinterest party. I mean, who has a dozen different styles of flatware and props laying around? I LOVE that the ladies at Sugar & Cloth make this little cheat sheet for how to bring fun pop-y patterns into your next shindig on a budget.
I’ve always had a thing for old photos, and seeing some of the oldest color photos ever taken? Amazing.
My gardening skills are middling at best, but if I had more of a green thumb, I’d want a garden full of all these beautiful things.
