Someday I will own a brocade settee and an adorable bunny. Big dreams right? Ah friends, it is finally Friday, and I couldn’t be more pleased. My mom is on her way to Tallahassee as we speak, and she is going to be spending a week with Andy and me. Hopefully, there will be much crafting, baking, and hanging out. I love taking her around Tallahassee and showing her all my favorite places and the quirky things Andy and I stumble across. The cats also love when she visits because we open up the guest room; they have another window to look out of and several additional places to nap. Especially since we keep a number of comfy plush throws in there for our guests. She also gives out snacks, with our approval of course, but treats none the less. They think it’s the best thing ever.
I thought this post on Home 101 would be pretty useful for someone moving into their own place for the first time. I do think “learning to unclog the sink” and “how to change your air filter” should be on the list, but it’s still a good place to start.

A quick and attractive way to DIY some storage for your hats.
Andy and I tried this recipe for stuffed peppers earlier this week. We substituted Boca crumbles in place of the ground beef, and it was still pretty darn good.
Love this Galentine’s Day party. My friends and I threw a couple of these in college, but they weren’t quite this swanky.
