Gilded Golden Thanksgiving Decor Wishlist

The only thing better than a little bit of sparkle and shine this time of year is a lot of sparkle and shine. With Thanksgiving a scant week away, there is still a bit of time to pick up something special for your table. This year I am finding myself very inspired by items with a lovely warm golden tone. Here are some of my favorites.

The other thing I like about these pieces is that they aren’t holiday specific – they’re all things that can be utilized throughout the year. I’m generally willing to spend a bit more on something if I feel like I can get plenty of use out of it.

Last Minute Table Inspiration

Are you getting excited? Is your turkey defrosting, family traveling, and pies baking? I know many of you are old hats at this whole entertaining thing, but for those of you hosting for the first time or finding yourself at a loss when it comes to visualizing your perfect table layout, here are some beautiful tablescapes from My Domaine.

What do you think? Personally, I am loving the splashes of purple in that top one. The mix matched place settings are also a really cool idea. It is perfect for people who aren’t used to entertaining large numbers; mix what you already have with some new pieces, and you have a gorgeous table that has a lot of visual interest. Thanksgiving Table Roundup

I am a little behind with the holiday decorating this year. Our plans were up in the air until recently and I didn’t get the final head count for Thanksgiving until late Sunday night. Fortunately for me, there is the internet. I can browse through blogs and Pinterest until I find sometime inspiring or something so awesome that I have to copy it for myself.
